This transmitter consists of a stainless steel float column (usually mounted from the top of the receiver, however external mounting from the side of the receiver is also possible) which is UL recognized, with a built in temperature probe that can send non-stop temperature and level readings to the LC so that it can do various functions.  These include status display, level set point readings and alarm signals. The transmitter is designed so that there is no need for external float switches, dial thermometers or a sight glass. The stainless float column can withstand up to 257 degrees F., is adjustable tank fitting allowing for various lengths including receivers up to 120 inches.
