This steel horizontal elevated make-up boiler feed unit is used for pumping water temps up to 212 degrees F (with Model P low NPSH pump). A 3/16th” thick black steel receiver which is ASME code constructed with dished heads comes standard and tank can be ASME code stamped if necessary.  Options for heavier thickness are also available.  Receiver can be 300 series stainless for max corrosion resistance and most receiver sizes can be epoxy or plasite-lined.  Sizes range from 77 gallons and up and custom receiver sizes can be made for special use.  Units come with an electrical solenoid make-up water valve with float switch control and are available in simplex, duplex, triplex or quadraplex if needed.  Pump motors come in either 1750 RPM or 3500 RPM in single or three phase and are equipped with bronze-fitted Model D or Model P pumps with seals rated for temps up to 250 degrees F. Higher temp seals and special faces are available upon request, and pumps can be mounted vertically or horizontally.  Units can also be equipped with bronze-fitted, multi-stage pumps for high-pressure use and tungsten carbide mechanical seals on multi-stage pumps are rated up to 300 degrees F.
